Summer Endless

I close my eyes and take in the scene

Of winds blowing, my hair in the breeze,

my eyes are closed.

Those moments reading quitely under the sun, or sleeping till noon

A smile spreads over me as I remember why I want this to be an Endless Summer

The feeling of green grass, nostalgic stars and bonfires,

The people I've met, the places I've worked, and the friendships I've created,

and even that boy I met only for what seemed like a brief moment...

All made me wish that my Summer was Endless

Yet, I guess it's only for a moment

Reality is where we must return. But only for an extended time.

But for now, Summer. I will love you endless.
