Summer

Summer sun shining bright

Golden rays fill the sky with light

Warm breezes whisper through the trees

As nature hums its sweet melodies

Children laugh and play in fields

Their laughter like music that heals

The world is alive with vibrant hues

As flowers bloom in joyous cues

Picnics spread on checkered cloth

An abundance of food for all, no sloth

The scent of barbeque fills the air

With friends and family, none can compare

Beach days spent in the sand

Building castles with eager hand

Cool waves crash upon the shore

As seagulls cry out for more

Long days stretched out before us

Filled with adventure and no fuss

Summer, a time of joy and light

A season that fills our hearts just right.
