Subjective Squabble

Location

She's a smiler so they say

She holds a smile every day,

But if they really knew her pain

They'd comprehend her smile is feign.

For her "content" is widely publicized

But alone is she really satisfied?

She's frightened of wasting her youth.

It's be different if they understood the truth.

To her peers she has the perfect profile,

But to her progenitors she's always behind a mile.

It seems as if there is no ability to win the race

And none, more tough than these, to face.

She takes one step forward; to them its two steps back.

Then her light called self confidence soon turns to black.

It's carved in stone that she'll never be the best;

Therefore if you knew, then saw her smile, you'd probably be impressed.

Though they hurt, she still loves, because she understands

To make it in this world you must meet a list of demands:

Be a lot wiser,

Don't ever get bitter,

You might have to suck up

To win the golden cup.

However, if you want to win it true

You'll have to be a better you,

Because the you, you are now

Is the you they wont allow.

And thats the horrifying nightmare

That's stained in a darkened affair.

In hopes that she will accomplish her persuit

She'll still struggle to overcome her disrepute.
