Stripes
I met a boy He saw purple and red stripes He told me a story About how his fist Was always kissing bricks And as romantic as it was He had to quit So instead He spread a story about himself In magenta, black and elf felt green And he said “To be honest with you Oh never mind” And I wanted to see his story book Which he promised to bring But like it always goes in story books One of us never showed Only this time I am the character that had to let him down Even though it’s not in my character I hope the boy That sees purple and red stripes Forgives me Because I liked his stories
