Years with countless tears
Feeling like there is no one to turn to
Living amongst everyday fears
Lonely nights, emotional fights
Sometimes you have to step back
Its not healthy to make decisions in such a stressful moment
Sometimes you have to just breath, but don't leave
You can't hide from a situation forever
Sudden decisions aren't always clever.
So take time to think
We are only human
Stress is a part of our lives
At times it doesn't seem fair
It makes you want to scream
and pull at your hair.
Oh how dangerous this feeling can be
It's almost like and inner enemy
We can not let this stress control us
As author Randy Simmons said,
"Your mind controls your actions and emotions,
Your will controls your mind,,
You control your will,
Therefore, you can control your actions and emotions."
Stress can definitely over power our mind and body
It took over mine,
In only a matter of time
I was losing weight
My health was fading
Everything was happening so fast
Was it my past? Attacking me at last.
No answers
Just constant pain
It came to a point where I had to take control
My mind had taking over, only because I let it
Although I'm healing now,
There is no way I can forget it.
I feel stronger and better each day
I had to step in
Stress was not the healthy way.
