Story
He was her friend
For oh so long
He liked her, made
Her heart feel strong
He was older
By two years
This brought her pride
But also tears
Her faith was full
Yet his was none
And to him
That ruined fun
So he broke
Communication
This twisted her
Imagination
That next year
His friend she met
They almost kissed
Almost, and yet
Her heart still longed
For the first
To be with he
Who loved her first
And this friend
Seeing her pure
Thought he knew
The perfect cure
He tripped her up
He gave a dare
And so she cursed
It laid her bare
So now the first
Saw black her lips
He fell back for
Her form and hips
They came together
Once again
She began to care
Not for her sin
He stole her kiss
So innocent
And to his blinding
Lies she went
He knew that she
Was barely marked
So for corruption
He embarked
He slowly slowly
Took his time
First with flattery
And lies
He bragged of
Beauty, and her form
Said of goddess
She was born
Asked for pictures
"Take it slow
But don't forget,
That soon I go"
She knew that near
They'd say goodbye
And his reminders
Made her cry
And through her pain
She sent him all
That he had asked.
It made her small
Still she hadn't
Gone as far
As she would soon
That'd leave the scar
It was the morn
Aft' Christmas day
At 2 am
That he would slay
Her heart and soul
From what was sweet
When bitterness
And darkness meet
He picked her up
And brought her to
His bed in which
Her life she threw
And through the blood
Of all her sin
She always knew
The wrong within
Two hours later
She was home
Thinking of
What she had done
But she resolved
To go through more
Because he "loved her"
As a whore
But her resolve
Thank God broke sure
For he no longer
Spoke to her
Ignored her calls
He had moved on
To another
He had gone
So she prayed
Pushed past pain
In search for something
Real again
A few months later
He gave her a call
It scared her, but still
In God she stood tall
Forgiving herself
Was the hardest part
And still not achieved
It breaks her heart
But so much she learned
And now she knows
That from our mistakes
We learn and grow
And though she's still broken
For all choices she's made
She trusts that Christ
Will help the scars fade
