Storm Words
If my Head is up there
a part of the clouds,
then let the words that come out my Mouth,
be the first droplets of a Storm.
Storms can flood towns,
clearing away rust and rubble
people are left to pick up pieces,
and lives with shovels.
They start anew
So let my words be a storm;
I've got no time to conform
to societal boundaries
and pretexts, fine print.
Let my words cleanse you
of your ignorance, your prejudice,
Let me flood your head
your brain
your body
because actions speak louder than words
but words, as a wise teacher once told me,
are for more than being heard.
