Stories to be Told
A little wink,
A loving scold,
A hint to stories yet untold.
The Sage brought about by age,
They sing of their glory days.
A lot of wisdom,
So little of time,
A gleam of excitement in her eyes.
The young girl listens and she sighs,
So little of wisdom,
A lot of time.
Such is the stories of the aged,
Inspiring,
Exciting,
Leaving the young ones much engaged.
I hope one day that I can be,
A Sage to tell the stories yet to see.
But for now I wait,
And I see as fate gives me
A little wink,
A loving scold,
A hint to stories yet to unfold.
