Still Waiting

Wed, 08/09/2017 - 14:57 -- m.tpete

I thought I found her.

I thought I'd die for her.

I thought she'd stay.

Life was better when when she was around,

but now

SHE

left

and all I think about,

is what awaits me in the dark

Cold sheets.

Madness in my mind.

I'm still waiting,

for life to be interesting.

I'm still waiting,

for life to be more.

This is a response to the poem"Waiting Game" by Robert M. Drake. I thoroughly recommend reading that and his whole collection titled: A Brilliant Madness.
