Steps Through Time

Wed, 04/17/2019 - 01:53 -- Deeeii

There were a set of steps, Skyscrapers to my eye

An approach of uncertainty

With a painful descent, I’d cry

There were a set of steps, Buildings in my gaze

An attempt of possibility

With a minor fallback , I’m unfazed

There were a set of steps, Mounds below my vision

A bid of assurance

With a weightless reward , I’ve risen

There were a set of steps, Markers of my path

A stroll of elevation

With a numb reminiscence, I laugh
