Staying Alive Staying Alive

I am an immortal queen

awaiting my heroin homecoming.

Sitting by a motel basement

I dissociate myself and think of New Mexico.

Where I don’t swing at motel managers

who are lethargic losers.

 “Don’t get oh so close

to the extract of heroin”

I hear him say and I began to cry.
