The Stars in Your Eyes

Fri, 10/27/2017 - 22:56 -- N

I look out into the vast ocean of space and find stars that hold no meaning,

I feel nothing but intimidation that I am so insignificant. When I look to the

Horizon I see the sunrise or sunset, the beautiful colors are only that

Beautiful colors that are pointless. The same with the endless sea

When I look out from the pier, I feel small under the daunting ocean

That once again is trivial to my eyes.

However, those feelings fade once my gaze sets on your figure in the

Distance. When I look into your eyes I feel as if the infinite cosmos are

Trapped, and I don't feel insignificant anymore, because the look in your

Eyes fill me with so much love I might burst. When you smile the sun sets

In shame knowing it could never live up to the radiant sunrays emited from

Your smile. Finally your arms feel like an ocean of love that wrap around me

And remind me that I mean so much to someone, I love in the way I drown

in your embrace. I couldn't think of living my life without you, you made me

happy and see the light of the world, as if you lifted a veil from my face and

with you the world makes a little bit more sense.

world in so many different ways
