they're so young in their hearts,

but too old in their minds,

all those who society blinds...

never seeing what they lack,

inherently knowing there's no going back

products of a broken world,

unwilling to heal,

refusing to fight,

unable to resist,

yet completely capable of fighting back...

the battle for our minds rages on.

but she's so young in her heart,

and so old in her mind..

and all she really needs to see is those stars in her eyes

she's trapped, can't get out, as hard as she tries.

innocence lost, imagination dies.

and all that could have saved them lied in the stars in their eyes.
