Spoiled values America

Star spangled, dazed and confused

the masses temper is a short fuze

crimes committed, seen by different views

done by humans feeling, they have nothing to lose,

Racism is far from dead

hate fills the country towards "towel heads"

the truth is ugly it may offend

but we all need to realize to survive

we need each other in the end,

abe warned us of the troubles

a house divided pits brother verse brother

republicans and democrats

one in the same

legistatures can not pass laws

and trust in the government wanes,

equality is a center peace

but alot of americas atrosities

have been sponged from history

schools barely talk of slavery

but we all must know the holocaust

hitler was monster in reality

but america, for 200 years

ran on inhumanitymy ancestors endured

and hundreds of years taking whips

and beatings from yours,

this can make us all the better

and help us grow

even if tensions are high

with hate for other peoples

like pollution in the sky,

as violence plagues our country

we say we are better in every way

but teachers salaries and incarceration rates

are only two food groups of our spoiled dinner plate

that must be cooked by love not hate
