Spirit of my contentment

I sit in the sun and stop growing

How far away the sun must be from our little rock

I close my eyes and feel it burning into me

What is it trying to say?

I float on, oblivious

I inhale the sky like a candy floss

Melts, sweet burning on my throat

My back lifts away from the ground and my ribs stretch free

Nothing touches me and I don't have to see

My lungs spill out, nothing touches me

All of me is in the world and only I exist here

Porcelain in my brain, a soft finger on my lips

You are trying to break me
