A speck you can’t erase

By: Thorin Yonash

“In the morning crows cawing you to wake

You realize you aren’t getting any cake

You're waking up on the wrong side of bed

One side is stuffed, one side is clear

Your alarm clock beeping until your face is red

You’ll be late to school, the bus will disappear

Once you get there, eyes will pierce you

And like nails on the chalkboard work with start by cue

It feels like hours have passed yet not but a minute gone

Once it’s recess that kid will follow you, like a speck on the board

you can’t erase.

Time will pass, not time but strife

Like a never ending knife.

Life is like this, things will happen that can never end

Yet nothing to ever spend.

Life Is impossible to erase, it can be hard and seem like a race

But never will life not endure, as the least of pure.”
