The system is ridiculous to the ridonculous!

It is the biggest scam that we know, yet we zip up our vocal cords and shush.

Have we let them win? C'mon people scream and shout with me, let the world see that our system and religion aren't as separated as we thought it should be.

Since when have the private lives of our neighbors have to be involved with our government, and since when did we need permission from them to live the way we want to live.

I thought we were from a place of the home and the brave, where freedom bells ring, but why America; do you set a standard for us.

If a man wants to love a man, and a woman a woman, why do they have the right to judge that? Can they deny emotions like 1984, can they arrange us like the old days when love was meant to never exist but in Shakespeare’s mind and plays, can the system deny us that?

And if a woman ends a life that is growing inside her, can you really change her mind? If her choice for that life to grow and stretch through her tummy, wasn't even a choice, can you take that right from her just like that?

Since when have the people that we elected, age with bitter stone cold hearts to steal the freedom this country had brought us up to believe.

Church and state was sliced a part for a reason. We need to bring our rights back. We don't all follow your religious ways, some don't even believe in a holy book, so why force your beliefs on us.

To the Agnostics, the Islamic, the Jewish and the Buddhists; from the Hippies to the Atheists, are we forced to follow the old Biblical ways that aren't the ways of us 'others', can you really have the right to take our choices away?

And onward from today to the future, I'll be waiting for the day, when the bells of freedom ring again.
