Spaced Out
In a sea of stars,
My head was a constellation of chaos
And mindless insecurity.
In my universe,
There was no lack of striking entities.
You were so down to earth,
I was up in the sky
In between milky-ways
Of emotion and self-image.
A shooting star,
Unable to find a universe
Of which to stop and rest
In a sea of stars,
I am the center of my own universe,
Alongside striking entities.
At the edge,
Shooting stars linger
And find a universe
Of which to stop and rest.
