Space, Thank You

Space
As I look up as a new adult

It reciprocates with a child’s face
And it’s your fault -

You tantalize me

With your awe and beauty

Ever beckoning me
To move forward for humanity.

Everyday
You show me new things
Give me new perspective
A teacher, and learner, always -

As I push the bounds of my existence
You push ever further with strange phenomena each year
And inspire me with your persistence
The final frontier.
