Souls lost
Empty corridors and open doors
Lifeless limbs and aching sores
Endless paths and pain galore
Outstretched arms, that reach no more
Mist filled rooms and empty tombs
Souls are lost as life seems doomed
Crying eyes that fill with gloom
Acres of sand with expansive dunes
Fire burns embers that chars the core
Voices bellow like anger roars
Colors muted, silenced ignored
Lives destroyed, as its, the outcome of war
