The Soul Speaks

Silent cries awaken me,

My soul screams for sympathy,

Has God yet forsaken thee,

For hast thou gone astray,

Or overcome with an obstacle yet another day,

Paying for a sin undone,

Seeking forgiveness for the unforgivable,

Adulterated beyond belief,

His persona filled with mischief,

Life being endless days of grief,

Seeking remorse for whatever was done,

Leaves himself struck with sorrow,

Will he ever come to peace,

Or is he another lost soul to sow what he reaps.
