Sonnet: Where Discovery Takes Place

Let's just close our eyes and purely pretend

While heaven's gates are near, we shall wait

For the doors to open; lasting until death

Anxious we are to start emboldening one's mind

Oh, you are the light I am seeking

Pointing towards my horizons and where I stand

Though struggles are far I shall create reality

Idolizing the plane slowly moving towards the land

My soul warms with my diverse new friends

Embracing the new languages in sault to learn

Emerging the village, kids slowly stop and stare

A marvelous feeling when being beneficial is key

This is a journey I desire the most

I'm already imagining all the places I will go
