A Sonnet For the Rogues

Take a group of misfits, a group of freaks,

Just everyone who doesn’t fit in.

Combine the loners, the weirdos, the geeks.

Then sit back and watch the madness begin.

One leader with quick mind and heart of ice,

A couple of tricksters up to no good,

Mirror master of deceptive device,

A man who loves the smell of burning wood.

The golden girl who glides like a vision,

And a clever thief who loves a good tune.

Someone who could never make a head-on collision,

And a man who’s sent many storms a-strewn.

This band of thieves is still a family,

And they’re one hell of a Rogues Gallery.
