Sonnet to Literature

Location

The art is never visual to the eye.

It’s not always painted and framed on walls,

Nor has it always consisted of paints.

Art is not always made for only eyes.

Art can also be expressed in verses.

Verses that contain more secrets than paint.

Secrets that make the reader think of themes.

Themes that can personally relate to you.

This is the type of art that is made for ears.

The verses are the visual for the ear.

Literature can immortalize people,

Art and literature have this in common.

But having to understand literature

Means having a deep understanding of life.
