sometimes there just isn't enough rocks

emotion takes the best of us
something happens that we store away
never to see again
sooner or later it comes up
like a pot of water on a hot burner
sooner or later the water boils over
it takes us over completely
everything we do is affected
yet we can’t seem to find a way to control it
that’s when it hits us
our emotions take us over
it eats us alive
we can’t run from the truth
sometimes all we can do is let it out
it might be little at first
in time it will grow
people might hold it in
until it explodes inside of us
we snap
and sometimes there just isn’t enough rocks

I can really relate to this...I love how you don't develop the rocks metaphor and only have it at the end, it really stings
