Some difficulties regarding a mate.

Some difficulties reguarding a mate.

By: Anyssa Q. E

Oh, the world is bright and good,

I wish you’d see it as I would.

Endless hills and singing trees,

Beckoning winds and sloping valleys.

How the moon will shine so bright,

Upon our shoulders one balmy night,

When crickets sing and moths take flight,

Like the words we enjoy from crumbled pages.

They say, love is a garden,

In which planted trees of passion spring.

And two beings who adore one another,

-Cannot suppress its fellow’s wings.

What I am saying is,

If our love is so pure and true,

Let us compromise to see it through.

Plant a garden, perhaps, strong with reason.

But allow it to rest for a season,

With philosophy, love and art of writ,

And abstract beauty to keep it fit.
