Society Ruins

The deepest secrets,

Are hiding within.

Put them into a poem,

And a story begins.

Life's hard from day one,

Expectations set high,

To be pretty or skinny.

To fight or to fly.

Society says this,

and to be that,

they call you stupid,

or "too fat".

But forget what they say

they cant harm you here.

Hide all your scars,

protect all your fear.

But I believe in you dear,

you can go all the way.

Maybe not soon,

but someday.
