Society: New World Order

Mon, 03/18/2019 - 10:26 -- Tobias

Do we have enough light?

To shatter the darkness that we have in our empty hearts

Warrior yell but never shed a single tear

Can you sense our fear?

When we hide near

Your hearts beat for us

Are you listening to us?

Or just feeding off our energy

We concluded they are there

We do not care what is there

We are numb to the pain

All we want is fame

To be our savior from pain

Is blood, sweat and tears being not enough?

To show society we are all human beings

One love has always spoken to us

Ha! Self-love is a joke to us

Our generation craves that artificial love

That non-traditional love

That can you post me on Instagram love

That is, she too dark to get my love

We hate our own skin

We point out sins

Through a pencil or pen

We are quick to yell out that’s my brother

But we never lend a helping hand

Depression and oppression go hand in hand

They will never understand

We have urges to be so perfect

It is hard for us to find our purpose

To show we are worthy

What is our purpose?

To be freed

Or do we lust greed

I wish everyone a Godspeed
