Social distancing

The world outside seems frozen

In the relativity of the time

Everything's broken

Nostalgia for what's gone

Guilty passiveness, sadness

For those who won't return

Powerless, unable to fight

Everyone in its own prison

We can only hide

From ourselves, from our reason

The day became night

The nightmare's on the streets

At the supermarket you pick a fight

Is it fear or just greed?

You wake up fighting lions

Suddently in a circus

Where the lights are turned off

And the crowd is a virus

Even if a cure is found

I cannot simply come back

To what it was before

To what is left in the past

I live now in fear

Right into the darkness

The sun became a stranger

Stars I rarely see

I'm far away into my universe

Only a virus can fix me

This poem is about:
Me
Our world
