Soar

Your eyes, grey eyes

They saw me for who I was

A warm smile to reassure me

I was scared to say the least

My heart soared like that of a humming birds

Yet nowhere else did I feel safer

Than in the comfort in looking in your eyes

You took me by the hand

You led me from my fears

So I open up my wings

And soar beyond my limits
