So much has changed        But I still feel the same Fires and floods they came     To Burn it down and wash it all awayBut I stood my ground     every step of the way Yeah At times it brought me to my knees But I prayed while I was down   And then the more I believed.As time stands still    I’m Amazed you are realThen in a Flash it catches back up To me     Surreal the lost moments Caught in BetweenYeah age is getting the best of me     And all I have left are shattered Dreams     Of what was supposed to be... Of you and meBut those Dreams will Never Die truthfully cause Even when I could barely breathe Or see    From the smoke & the embers Falling all around me My faith and your smile was all I could see     Wish you could see what I see..  Nothing can stop us if we just Believe...    The path has been paved for us    Let me show u,  you’ll see    Take my hand have faith in me.Just open your eyes have trust in me.     You See the Fires burned almost everything And the storms brought the rain    To wash away the pain Yeah some stains remain      Like scars to remind us from which we came So much has changed     & I can never be the same But there’s a burning inside me As strong as the sun since this all begunFlowing to its own rhythm With the melody of a rushing river Against a universal prism  But I still want you just the same We got This nothing can stop us Together we can do this I promise  I just want you And you can have it all I believe in you in us Above all Even though my towers fall I always Get back up after the brawl but Each time I raise up higher every time I stand tallWe can rise above it all Like a Phoenix The fires consume Yet purify The destiny from me to you
