Snow Not So White
Mirror Mirror standing tall,
Revealed through cracks all the flaws,
And in a snap the request was granted with a zap,
Everyone's flaws, all but one,
The Queen was left profound,
Knowing that perfection had been found,
The Mirror showed a girl,
Skin dark as night, yet as white as light,
Her completion was made of splashes,
She could not be defined,
She was simply divine,
She had eyes richer than chocolate
And a heart fuller than the ocean
She was the royal child to be
The Queen confused with a soul hot enough to light a fuse,
Could not just stand there full of gloom,
The mirror showed the child had not been born yet,
So there’s still time to put perfection to the test,
No way the queen could let the child exist,
Thinking of ways, she created a short list,
The only way to stop this disgrace,
Was to end her creator in a haste,
The Queen picked up a knife
And with a single slice,
She cut her uterus from left to right,
Carrying a child with more beauty than she,
Is unheard and absurd,
How can a child both black and white
Represent all that is good and right,
The Queen’s legacy on the line,
No one has ever been more of a dime,
She cannot watch it all slip away,
That's why she ended her life today.
