SNOW
He lay in bed
in peace and red
But they didn't like it
so forced him out
to follow distress.
Why'd they call him crazy?
He was special
If any would say otherwise
Lie and envy.
Intelligent and honest, they'd call him
He laughed and put on blue
Dirty and reckless
he went into the white
They took his friend
said it was dangerous
The fools wouldn't know
what they just did.
They said, it'll be fine
Lying bastards
They took off his clothes,
his soul, his art
He walked the corridors
with glued mirror eyes
He smiled and laughed
"I'll give them what they want."
And he did
Five days passed by
He still longed for her
Sat by the telephone
No one to call from
Or for.
Why were they sad when he ate?
Why did they sympathize when he smiled?
Why the pity and care?
All he wanted was for her to be
somewhere.
