The Smooth Edge

The smooth edge is always the most deadly
Because it is the one you least expect to strike, but yet it is always stands ready

An edge that has two sides
One it struts proudly, while the other one it hides

One that cuts into your life without permission or clearance
But the other side is used for just physical appearance
One side is powerful, the blade that can’t be beat

The other is only looks intimidating because it hides behind lies and deceit.

The smooth edge is a vindictive weapon
It can’t be stainless or ragged, a sickle or jagged.
Leave bodily wounds or make you soul just swoon
But the smooth edge is a two-sided blade, either to be your salvation or doom.
