Smiling Words

Hush.

Don't.

Quiet, Little One. No One wants to know

I am shushed,

I am pushed into the corner

because of my smile,

and my smiling words.

Quiet! They say.

No One wants to know!

It beats inside me.

NO!

My smiling words reach out, caress

the sadness

and out leaks

Joy.

I am little

this world is cruel,

but it doesn't have to be.

Smiling words bleed from trials.

Joy is hidden in every(joy)thing.

in Me, You and the smiling words.

Let them leak,

change things,

erase things that hurt.

You'll see.

We'll transform things.

We and our smiling words.

We change things.

Let the words wash over it all.

the fear,

pain,

darkness

Let the words wash over it all

until (you'll see)

everything smiles.
