So cordial so loving
So true and carefree
The way that I feel
When you smile at me

You make me feel weak
You make me feel strong
Your eyes are so gentle
Yet they pull me along

I know not the words
To say to that smile
Perhaps I will listen
Just for a while

You sing to me softly
Without any sound
You fly me away
Yet my feet touch the ground

I want you to smile
I want you to stay
I want to be with you
For the rest of the day

And when it is has passed
And the night has begun
I want to be with you
To follow the sun

Perhaps I'm too dreamy
Perhaps I'm unsound
I know not the answer
But please stick around

For cordial and loving
I know that I'll be
If only you'll stay
And smile at me
