SLC Inversion
Dark umbra throughout
Vanishing perspective
Tucked away toxic troposphere
The day not gay but grey and glum
Sun gone by long smog
Overcoming the cloudland
A dense layer of cold
Under the blanket of heat
Inevitable smoke fill lungs
Effecting vulnerable organs
Breathing in a sore throat
Burning matter to sot and soot
Immuring impure infections
