A Simple Walk

As I walk this unknown path
The path that takes me to seven worlds,
The path like never before
The path not full of riches but glory
My path brings this weary body to a halt.

In my path ahead I see not hundreds
But thousands of creatures.
Creatures so full of anger
This land ahead covered by water
On every side.
This giant mass of rock full
Of intellectual creatures from head to toe.

These creatures clearing my way
I continue on this path
That yet brings me to another halt.
This time not paused by intellectual creatures
But civilized ones.
The creatures minding their business
Doing their daily dues as farmers
Creatures of the day to feed the hungry.

Finding no interest I walk forward
Until the path ends.
As the waves crash on the shore ahead of me.
I swim until I reach a world full of white.
This cold dark world where I wandered
So I did not stay long for it had nothing to offer.

Reaching another end
I swim once more.
I swam and swam.
Until I reach a barren desert
Full of hopping happy creatures
With their heavy long tails.
This world was small.

For I was already into the next one.
Never has my eyes seen such a pure
Land of existence,
Where man prayed in mountains
Creatures with beautiful almond eyes.
Giving me many joys,
I did not wish to leave
But I knew that there was nothing here for me.
So the path took me elsewhere.

Knowing this was the last world.
I continued on the path
As I saw progressing landmasses
Full of beautiful towers.
Towers that held thousands of years
Of culture and love.
But once again I carried on

Tired I sat on a rock.
This rock belonged to no world.
This rock was mine.
For I had fulfilled my purpose
And it was time to leave
Because this path had nothing to offer.
