Silver

Remnants of voice say the eyes sold the soul.
Kindness, love, and darkness through hazil hole
Longing to be filled by moments of you
Memories of your heart and eyes so pale blue.
No, not blue. But Gray steel with silver halos
Banding my heart and soaring like swallows
That wait for my touch, patience for my hand
Stolen from Father, I ask. I demand.
If the eyes sell the soul. I’ll by silver
And trusting the luster will stay shimmer.
Whispering beauty in passionate stare
Foretelling the moments and memories shared
To have and to hold forever I will.
And die the same day, hearts welded with steel.
