"Silhouette Subtlety"
I didn't even recognize my own silhouette.
At first glance,
I hadn't the slightest notion there was even an image to be seen.
To my dismay, coincidently,
My assumption was in correspondence to my reality.
For I adjusted the light, by opening my eyes.
To realize, it was not I deceived, yet my eyes the fool.
Now may graciousness be not any nearer, nor there be any tamer a lie.
For not I, to blame. Rather, to blame, are these here eyes.
No, as as much a part of one, as is the other.
A shame, the eyes warrant on, in act.
I shan't permit I to neglect all,
that these eyes have lied.
