Silent Soul

The issues hidden behind his eyes

Are those you can't afford to know.

These probelms take hold of her

And now they know her scent.

The issues that haunt him

Know the taste of his fear.

She no longer understands

What was once so very simple.

Now he's lying here

Just resting his eyes.

Do not try to wake her.

It will only cause her pain.

She may no longer be there,

Becasue neither couldn't keep the other

From the dark.

But he will never blame her,

For they are only human.

I am silent in body,

but am loud in mind.

I must tell you a sweet sorrow,

That is hidden in my eyes.

But am not strong enough to face your sweet face.

I will write to you

That she cannot be replaced.

He will crumble

And she will fall.

They both were torn open

For the whole world to see.

I must be silent to him,

And be scared for her.

These issues are hidden behind my eyes.

Those you can't afford to know.

These probelms take hold of me

And now they know my scent.

The issues that haunt me

Know the taste of this fear.

My silent soul

Is being torn apart

By keeping two people together

Here.
