Silent Scream

She held back her tears and forced the hurt away
Not even faith and strength could keep those hopes and dreams to stay
As she went on bending the lies to speak some truth
She got caught in the games finding guilt in every excuse
She tried to hide from reality by getting faded with her friends
Because she couldn’t face the world on her own no matter how hard she pretends
Locked away and feeling alone… the words still stuck to her heart
She’s supposed to be strong but really she’s inches from falling apart
No one seemed to care what she had to say
She was left to grow up, becoming a mother at such a young age
No matter how many times she acted out
Her shout for help had never come about
She pleaded through her sole and ached through her heart
Little did she know her scream was silenced from the very start?
