The Silence

Silence. The worst hinderance.
What we don’t wish to hear, comes to us crystal clear.
But what we hope to come across, seems forever lost.
Just a simple acknowledgement, how our lives are spent.
Waiting, wishing, wanting..
Silence. The worst hinderance.
We are hopelessly meek, from conversation so bleak.
Plenty of meaningless words, from all of the cowards.
Human capability so disarray, leaves us feeling dismay.
Waiting, wishing, wanting..
Silence. The worst hinderance.
So here at the end of it all, I ask you to stand tall!
Unite and come together, one we are forever!
Let your voice be heard, instead of waiting to be handed the words!
Take this scripture, and release its message until the rapture!
Waiting, wishing, wanting..
To break the silence.
-Hope in Heroes
