Signs of Autumn

Location

Fall is coming,

bringing some of my favorite things.

The crackle of a bon-fire with friends,

warm drinks in hand.

Snuggling into a soft blanket,

while my book carries me worlds away.

The holidays with friends and family;

sharing laughs and memories.

Breathing in the cool, crisp air,

as I wrap my scarf tighter around my neck.

Listening to the leaves crunch underneath my sneakers,

while the remaining birds chirp their fairwells.

Soon it will be winter,

but for now I sing the song of autumn
