Sick

I'm sick of the judgement.  It follows us like a blood soaked cloud,

And when the cloud rains its acidic tears upon us, we know we deserve to be spared.

I'm sick of the silence.  It engulfs us when we seek to be loud,

And when our voices are drowned by the white noise, we know we deserve to be heard.

I'm sick of the darkness.  It swallows us like the mouths of the wealthy,

And when we are lost within the confines of the void, we know we deserve to be freed.

I'm sick of the poverty.  It curses us like a plague upon the healthy,

And when we are choked by the hands of a starved country, we know we deserve to succeed.

I'm sick of the injustice.  We know we do not deserve this.
