She Used Me
She used me
all night
and morning
like a pillow
she straddled
and pounded
until it lost definition.
I lost mine.
In the end I resigned
and begged to be hers
and her mine.
I was weak
From the sliding in
And out
so she took me
to eat.
She wore leather
and laid out for me
a crepe jumpsuit
and pink slippers.
It gave me pleasure
the way five moons
in a four moon sky
would wind up desire.
In the air, I held her arm
and placed my head
on her shoulder-
wherever she moved,
I moved like her shadow.
And why not.
For a time
we redefined what is:
we turned water
into fire
and neither of us
got singed.
