She is My Mother

She doesn’t wear a cape but she is still a hero.

She doesn’t have a degree but she is still a teacher.

She doesn’t have medical experience but she is a nurse.

She doesn’t know karate but she still fights for me.

She is My mother.

My mother, the one who does it all

The One who pushes me to be better.

The one who works lingering nights just to be sure I have the necessities.

The one who cheers me up when I have a bad day.

The one who has heavy tired eyes but still wake up at dawn to make me breakfast.

The one who showed me to smile through it all.

The one who doesn’t think I’m too old, to hug her and call her mommy.

She is My Mother.

She is both parents and is not afraid to show me twice the love

She is My Mother

She is my life, she is my sunlight, she is my teacher and my friend

But most importantly

She is My Mother
