A Sharp Love

We wait and wait
Till the sun burns no more
We watch and watch
While the moonlight dims
We try and try
Only for failure
We burn and burn
While we wait for salvation
We hold our own
And stand our ground
While we fight the war inside us
We are strong and we are proud
But yet we die when faced with failure
We face our fears
But yet dig our graves
While we speak
Even now we dig our graves
While the clouds disappear
My love for all has finally gone
And all happiness has gone
I finally throw myself into the grave
While you fill the holes you left in me
The sharp love you have given me has finally give me reason
But yet as well you have ended my feeling for all things other than hate
