Beautiful words can be empty

just vocabulary added together for the purpose of being lengthy

beautiful words and poetry, listen up because there is a difference

one is cute to look at and the other one breeds reverence

I can't tell you what poetry has done for me

but please listen to my sudden plea

when the noise of the world gets too much

make time for that thing with the soft touch

it is all the support you need from the evil of the world

WRITE your own and make that pen twirl

because in poetry there is freedom
