Seven Deadly Sins

I.

I possess infinite items, yet I have nothing.

My reaches are endless, ceaseless, and pitiless.

Nothing I see will stay out of my reach for long.

I gorge on riches, glory, and fame.

My name is on the breath of wolves on cracked pavement.

Their suits are tailored by my clutches and influence.

I am merciless in my pursuit to dominate everything.

II.

I possess everything, yet no one has seen it.

My core is ruled by appearances.

Nothing escapes my gaze. I am superior and unrivaled.

I am found in the stubborn man that can never be wrong.

King Midas has been put to shame.

I relish the thought of jealous minds.

III.

I possess comfort in every form, yet I am not satisfied.

My convenience is all that matters.

I do not pray, fast, or ritualize.

Everything must be undemanding in my life.

If a task is challenging, it is not worth doing.

I enter the minds of the young and naive.

My grasp reaches into every complacent mind.

IV.

I possess bushels and baskets of food, yet I am still hungry.

My actions of overindulgence define me.

I do not care for others’ need. My goal is simple:

Consume everything.

Whether I buy objects or devour unconsciously,

I will attain prevalence in the world’s lesser men.

I am the need for items in the clogged hearts of humanity.

V.

I possess enough, yet I covet all.

My presence enters the weak and petty.

All of my needs revolve around others property.

I do not steal but brood.

Material effects endear me to the inviting mind.

I am found in the jealous man and frivolous woman.

I am the scorn on peoples’ tongues.

VI.

I possess potential, yet I use hatred.

My existence in the heart of men is legendary.

I start disputes and spur antipathy.

My delight is creating perpetual war.

Every volatile act is my work of art.

I am relentless in my effort to create chaos.

I am hostility itself.

VII.

I possess luxury, yet I crave.

I am the hardest to evade of the yearnings of man.

My influence is everywhere; I am persistent and alluring.

I am found in the corset strings of women

And the desires of men.

Most people on Earth feel my presence.

I am the passion of humanity’s obsession.

I am Sin itself.
